Walters on track for £20,000 annual fundraising target for Teenage Cancer Trust

Walters to Raise £20,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust in Wales

Walters has chosen to partner with Teenage Cancer Trust in Wales as their new charity partner for 2017/18, with a goal to raise £20,000 over the coming year.

To kick off the partnership, Walters has liveried 3 of their low loader lorries to display the Proud to Support Teenage Cancer Trust logo and are looking to donate for every mile each lorry travels over the coming year with the hope of raising £10,000 form this activity alone.

Walters step up the work rate to keep pace with Newport and Torfaen housing boom…

Walters Group have recently been working on no less than five separate residential development projects in Newport and Torfaen. It’s another sign of the increasing demand for housing in the area, reflecting both continued regional regeneration and rapidly rising property costs in nearby Bristol. The projects (part of a wider South Wales wide boom in residential development) are all within easy reach of the M4 Corridor for the all-important commute.

Walters Recruiting Locally in Preparation For A14

Walters were out in force at the Highways England plant operator’s construction careers event in Cambridge on the 27th and 28th of January. The event, organised by Highways England was intended to promote work opportunities in construction in the local area. It was a great success for Walters as we engaged with hundreds of people from the local area who were interested in working on the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme.
