Walters have now commenced work on the Ty Du five million pound regeneration scheme that will bring 200 new homes and more than 6000 sq m of employment space to the 19.2 acre site located to the south of Nelson in the County Borough of Caerphilly.

The Ty Du Nelson Primary Infrastructure scheme will see Walters develop and construct a new 7.3m wide spine road leading from the A472, associated drainage and SuDS, utilities infrastructure and landscaping to facilitate future development plus a new 0.6 km of quarry access road and new off-road cycleway. The project is being funded by £5m of investment from Welsh Government including £2.5m of EU funds.
