Walters have been awarded the Hindlow Quarry Load and Haul contract. Following a tough tender process, our bid was successful, and we were awarded a 6-year contract to provide a fully managed Load and Haul Service.

Hindlow Quarry near Buxton, Derbyshire is owned by LHoist, a family-owned company with a global presence.

The aggregate from Hindlow in used to produce high quality lime-based products for use in the agricultural, construction, environmental and industrial industries. The site comprises of a quarry, drying kilns, processing and bagging plants, offices and weighbridge

We provide all the mobile plant and operators to excavate, load and haul material from the excavation area to the primary crusher and waste material to tip and, as part of the contract, we also carry out quarry development on site.

The award of the contract saw an investment in new mobile plant and the welcoming of the Supervisor and Operators into the Walters Company.
