We are seeking an Estimating Assistant / Tender Enquiries Coordinator / Sub-Contract Package Buyer to join our work-winning team. This position is ideal for a graduate or an individual with 1-3 years of relevant experience looking for an exciting development opportunity in the construction industry.

Working closely with our Lead Estimator, you will coordinate tender enquiries to secure competitive quotations for sub-contractor work and supply of materials, which will form the basis of cost estimates for civil engineering projects.

You will also facilitate strong communication with our key supply chain partners and play a pivotal role in supporting our work-winning strategies.

• Review client tender documentation, prepare and manage the tender enquiry process to obtain market prices for the various elements of the project.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with our supply chain partners.

• Collaborate with the Lead Estimator, Work Winning team and Group Buyer to find innovative solutions to meet the client requirements.

• Coordinate with the internal buying department to ensure continuity through to project delivery.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and accurately take-off dimensions from drawings.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with the supply chain on a daily basis.

• Excellent organisational skills to maintain accurate records of supplier information and communication logs.

• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects and collaborate closely with the Lead Estimator and Work Winning team.
