We operate and maintain the largest directly owned heavy plant fleet in the UK. This affords us great flexibility and the ability for long term thinking when it comes to the choice, application and specification of plant, with the majority of the fleet specified for high end, hard wearing, earthmoving applications for the toughest earthworks conditions.
Our fleet is continuously renewed ensuring that only the most modern and efficient plant is deployed, keeping us at the forefront of carbon reduction. We have the largest machine control and telematic fleet monitoring capability in the earthmoving industry with the majority of our machines equipped to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.
The fleet is supported by a range of internal services that ensure maximum operational efficiency including maintenance facilities, service engineers and heavy haulage transportation. We also support all of our projects with our own technicians, engineers and tyre fitters.
At the core of our delivery capability are the people who operate our plant. With over 500 directly employed operators across the UK, we maintain loyalty by having a reputation amongst operators of having quality plant, being able to deliver and having a steady stream of work.
Our in-house design team specialises in volumetric analysis and topographic modelling, ensuring we plan ahead to optimise the earthworks by balancing earthwork volumes, off-site disposal, on-site haulage and integrating them with the main design. On site, the professionalism continues with fully qualified managers, engineers, experienced supervisors and skilled plant operators.
