Darren has recently joined the Walters team from Cardiff University after graduating with an MSc in Civil Engineering. Darren is currently working at our Bro Tathan site in South Wales.

We recently caught up with Darren to see what he is looking forward to. 

Darren said, “I am keen to deepen my knowledge of site operations and technical expertise in earthworks, groundworks, structural engineering, and project planning, while gaining practical experience with construction technologies like GPS systems. I also want to enhance my understanding of health and safety protocols and sustainability practices. I aim to develop my leadership skills to effectively manage teams on-site.”

Darren is learning from a great team and is looking forward to making the most of the varied opportunities within Walters: “I’m looking forward to working on large-scale infrastructure projects with Walters and learn from experienced professionals.”

Darren is excited for the future, and he aims “to be a skilled and experienced site engineer, working on complex projects, managing teams of people, and contributing to the company’s success while staying updated on industry advancement.” Walters are excited to be part of his development journey.
