Walters Recruiting Locally in Preparation For A14
This is the tab body content. It is typically best to keep this area short and to the point so it isn't too overwhelming.

Walters were out recruiting in force at the Highways England plant operator”s construction careers event in Cambridge on the 27th and 28th of January. The event, organised by Highways England was intended to promote work opportunities in construction in the local area. It was a great success for Walters as we engaged with hundreds of people from the local area who were interested in working on the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme.

Walters have recently commenced preparatory works on this project on behalf of the A14 Integrated Delivery Team and Highways England. We are currently supporting a team of archaeologists, undertaking early site clearance and installing environmental protection measures with other 60 items of heavy plant already deployed. With an expected peak requirement of over 125 pieces of heavy earthmoving equipment required at its peak, we are keen to talk to experienced operators in the local area.

We have also committed to placing a total of 10 apprentices on the scheme and are looking to hear from people interested in an exciting career in Civil Engineering.
