Walters win Coychurch Roundabout Cycle Improvements
Walters have just commenced works on the £0.5m Coychurch Roundabout Cycle Improvements scheme in Bridgend. The scheme has been issued as part of Lot 7 of the SEWH Frameworks.
The 11wk scheme carried out under off peak TM restrictions, provides active travel facilities for pedestrians and cyclists at the A473 Coychurch Road Roundabout. The signals on the approaches to the roundabout and the circulatory carriageway will be upgraded to provide toucan facilities. Footways on the periphery of the roundabout will be increased in width to provide shared cycleway /footway facilities and a new combined cycleway / footway route will be provided through the roundabout central island.
